Stephen Elias is senior vice president and head of Office Strategy, Leasing & Execution for Citizens, one of the nations’ oldest and largest financial institutions. Stephen leads a national team responsible for real estate strategy/M&A, transactions, space planning, construction project management, and move delivery for a 5MSF+ portfolio.
Prior to joining Citizens in 2011, Stephen was Director of Finance at Fidelity Investment’s institutional division, where he was responsible for financial planning & analysis and business support.
Stephen holds a BS in Finance from the University of Rhode Island, and an MBA from Bryant University.
A longstanding member and corporate partner of CoreNet Global, Stephen is a board member of the New England chapter, board liaison for the Career Strategies & Development committee, and Education committee member. He obtained the MCR.w designation from Global and is a New England Chapter Leadership 2.0 graduate. Stephen led the interior design and planning of Johnston’s corporate campus, which was awarded best large workplace in 2019 by the New England chapter. Stephen has been instrumental in establishing Citizens as a New England chapter corporate sponsor and growing the company’s membership to over 20 individuals.
