Calling all sponsors! Share what 2020 has meant to you.
What: A video from your firm
Deadline: January 9, 2021
2020 has been a year like no other. In lieu of our annual, live awards gala, the CoreNet New England Chapter is hosting a virtual event on January 20, 2021 to connect with each other, look back on 2020, celebrate our successes, and look forward to 2021.
We’d like this event to tell the story of our Chapter over the past year, and we need your help!
We are inviting sponsors to provide a short video to share a message that captures what 2020 meant to your organization, how you’ve come together in a challenging year, or your perspective on moving into the future. This is your opportunity to highlight your firm, your expertise, your people, or anything else you’re proud of!
For more details on the length of the video, the format of files, and how to submit, please see below. Each sponsor firm can submit one video. Questions? Please reach out to Awards Committee Co-Chairs, Sarah McGillicuddy or Jessica Pernicone.
For Sponsors: How to upload your video for the January virtual connection event

Your video can be:
- Informal: These videos are meant to be from the heart, so please do not feel like it needs to be a professionally produced piece. iPhone recordings are just fine!
- A photo or video montage. If it’s easier to compile a series of images, that’s totally OK.
- A personal message. Your video could simply be a video message from an individual at your firm.
- Light-hearted or serious: We are hoping these videos capture how we’ve all felt about the year, including the good humor and resilience we’ve leaned on to get us through.
Here are some helpful details for creating and uploading your video:

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, CoreNet New England's Annual Awards of Excellence will not be held in 2020. Chapter leadership and the Awards Committee are working on an alternative celebratory honorarium for various members of our membership and community. Please stay tuned for more information.
Despite the change of plans, we will recognize 2020 projects completed in the timeframe to be eligible for this year's awards(projects must have been completed between April 1, 2019 and July 31, 2020) and will recognize two sets of project award winners (2020 winners and 2021 winners) at our 2021 Awards of Excellence celebration.
Given the circumstances the industry is facing with COVID-19, we understand it may be difficult to balance and coordinate a submission right now so we have extended the submission deadline for 2020 projects to June 26, 2020.
