Rick Bertasi is the MD and Global Head of Corporate Real Estate Services for Deutsche Bank. He will talk about the vision for CRES that DB has created, the change program designed to accomplish that vision, and the engagement of the DB supply chain in supporting that change. The DB CRES vision centres around an industrialized product approach, with automated service level agreement options for business unit clients. Rick has been a member of the CoreNet Global Board of Directors for the past 4 years. He will spend the last part of his session talking about the CNG vision, its focus on increasing the value proposition to members, and what you should expect to see in the future from CNG. As the Global Head of Corporate Real Estate & Services (CRES) in the Global Logistics Services (GLS) group, Rick is responsible for the Bank’s internal property portfolio including the delivery of world class strategic and operational real estate services for all DB business units. Based in London, he is a member of the GLS leadership team, and plays a strategic role in providing world class infrastructure logistics services to internal DB clients allowing them to plan for, acquire and organize resources to deliver superior and differentiated commercial value. Rick joined Deutsche Bank from Johnson Controls, where he ran their Workplace Solutions business for EMEA. Rick was also President of USI, a real estate services company acquired by Johnson Controls in 2005, before which Rick was a partner at Trammell Crow Company. Prior to his real estate career, he spent several years working with Shearson Lehman Brothers and Salomon Brothers.
