Richard Bettina is a Vice President of Global Real Estate Services at Fresenius Medical Care, the world's leading provider of products and services for renal diseases. He leads teams responsible for leasing, renewals, site selection, acquisitions, due diligence, dispositions, sale/leasebacks, and lease administration. Rich is the GRE business partner for the company’s Care Delivery vertical that provides dialysis treatment to 300,000 patients worldwide across 3,700 dialysis clinics. His team also provides Global Real Estate services to the company’s Care Enablement vertical with 40 Production sites.
Prior to joining Fresenius in 2018, Rich was a Director of Dell-EMC’s Global Real Estate and Facilities team, responsible for managing all real estate activities for field office and lab facility builds, moves and operations across Mexico and Latin America. Prior to joining EMC, he worked at Teradyne for 10 years developing and managing a direct procurement ASICs group, an engineering support organization, and the company’s Indirect Procurement group. Before Teradyne, Rich began his career at IBM, working there for 15 years, managing operations, contracts, product sales and technology alliances in the U.S. and Asia Pacific regions.
Rich is a former and active board member of CoreNet New England. He holds an MBA in Strategic Business Management from Pace University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University. He enjoys spending time with his family and competing as a USA Masters Powerlifting team member, successfully medaling at World Competition meets in Minsk, Belarus, San Jose, Costa Rica and Newfoundland, Canada.
