Marisa joined Humanscale in June 2003, and since then, her roles have included business development for MA & RI, training as part of Humanscale University, and Marketing & Communications as part of the Humanscale International team based in London, UK. Currently, she is Humanscale’s A&D Director based in Boston and working with design firms, project managers and brokers across North America to support their client specifications. Prior to working at Humanscale, she worked at Knoll. Marisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and is originally from New Jersey. She lives just north of Boston with her husband Joe, son Ben, and daughters Annabel and Charlotte.
Marisa is a Board Member of the CoreNet Global New England Chapter. She currently serves as Board Liaison for the Communications Committee, where she previously was Co-Chair for eight years, and also for the Awards Committee. In 2015, Marisa was named one of the "36 Under 36" top Young Leaders from all 40 CoreNet global chapters worldwide. In 2019, she was honored to receive the "Leadership Award, Americas Service Provider" by the CoreNet New England Chapter.
