Kathryn Hester

Kathryn Hester is a seasoned real estate and facilities management professional with 20+ years of experience in the industry. She kicked off her career at Hines Properties in Detroit in Property Management at the GM World Headquarters before relocating to Boston, where she took charge of trophy properties exceeding 1Msf. Today, Kathryn manages U.S. assets for InterSystems, overseeing key locations in Washington, D.C., New York City, and their global headquarter in Boston. Her expertise spans construction management, risk management, sustainability, employee engagement, and overall facilities operations, ensuring that every square foot performs at its best.

Kathryn holds a BA from Mount Holyoke College and is a new but committed Board Member of CoreNet New England, where she hopes to apply her deep knowledge of office development, space planning, and sustainability to drive workplace innovation and become a trusted voice in the real estate community. She is also an active member of the BOMA Boston, having served on various committees.

When not walking office floors and job sites, you’ll likely find Kathryn on beach walks in the summer or braving ski lift lines in the winter—proving her passion for space management isn't limited to the office! Living north of Boston with her family, Kathryn balances her professional life with a love of travel and the outdoors.
