Mr. Horblit is Vice President of Workplace Services for The TJX Companies, Inc. where he is responsible for all functional areas of Real Estate including planning, design, construction, facility and vendor management and other service departments including Security, auto fleet program, and mail & duplication services for the U.S. Corporate portfolio. TJX is the leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S.
Prior to joining TJX, Mr. Horblit was President and Head Real Estate at Fidelity Investments where he was responsible for the full range of corporate real estate strategy and services to Fidelity’s business units Globally. In that role, he was responsible for a portfolio of approximately 12 million square feet including mission-critical data centers and more than 200 Retail Investor Centers. Mr. Horblit also held senior leadership roles with JMB Urban Properties, a National real estate development firm, and Ryan & Reed, Inc. providing services to Berklee college of Music.
Mr. Horblit holds a BA degree in English from Framingham State University, an MS degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and a JD degree from Suffolk Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude. He has been an active member CoreNet New England since 2005 and has held prominent positions on the chapter board of directors and executive committee including serving as President of the Chapter from 2011- 2014. Mr. Horblit currently serves on the Advisory Committee for the Chapter.
